Can you remember the days before broadband when dial-up connections were slow and no-one would dream of watching videos on their computer?

At around this time Karin Ridgers asked us whether we could create a pilot of a 'TV internet station' showing vegetarian-related videos.

Karin had five programmes ready to roll, but the project needed everything else including a logo, branding and copy.

We created a complete package for Veggie Vision, using stills from the programmes for illustration and to give an illusion of size to the project. We created a monthly competition, a 'coming soon' trailer section, and areas of the site where people could nominate their favourite vegetarians and send in their own videos.

The pilot website was a great success, attracting support from celebrities including Benjamin Zephaniah, Jerome Flynn, Jodie Marsh and Joanna Lumley. More recently Veggie Vision was nominated for Best Vegan Media/Publication in the 2007 Yaoh Vegan Environmental Awards.

Karin is now seeking backers who can give her the financial support she needs to take the pilot website forward and create the full-blown Veggie Vision experience. The response to the pilot has shown that there is room in the market for this project and we hope that Karin can get the backing she need to take this on to the next level.
